Our home is ideally suited for anyone that is looking for a comfy, 'home away from home', whether you are a tourist, you commute or just getting away for the weekend, our accommodation is a gateway to Newcastle and the HunterValley with the bonus of being completely private.
Welcome to our Nude bed and Breakfast
situated in the central suburbs of Newcastle. We are 5 minutes to Newcastle's beautiful beaches and Harbour. The Hunter Valley wine region is 35 minutes away while the beautiful Lake Macquarie, Australia's largest salt water lake is just 15 minutes south of us. Port Stephens lies 50 minutes to our north but the jewel in the crown is our beautiful designated clothes optional beach, 'Birdie Beach' which is 30 minutes away in Munmorah State National Park.

We have 2 rooms available, both with queen size beds. Each have their own ensuite bathrooms. Our 'Marche' room which is well appointed with a comfortable bed, beautiful linen, 'Peter Alexander' gowns, a BIG ensuite bathroom with a double bath, rainwater shower (tilts so you don't wet your hair), TV, free Wi-Fi, built in robe with plenty of space, a bar fridge and tea & coffee facilities.
Our 2nd room is The 'Artist Loft' and is a working art studio which we just renovated in December 2019 by adding a gorgeous new bathroom. The studio has stunning queen bed, a reading nook, a balcony, beautiful linen, 'Peter Alexander' gowns, a kitchenette with a bar fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery & crockery, air conditioning, a TV with all the latest apps and free Wi-Fi throughout. This is a wonderful space, very comfortable and has its own access via the side of the house making it completely self-contained.
You will feel like you are at home with all the personal touches we offer our guests here at Marche from the BIG 8 person jacuzzi/spa set in the deck of our entertainment area, the 'Bali' daybed set in the tranquil gardens, the sun lounges, BBQ facilities, outdoor shower with hot & cold taps, set amongst the tropical gardens, surrounded by a high bamboo fence providing complete privacy, there is nothing not to like!
The continental breakfast is complimentary and BBQ facilities are available if you want to stay home and cook.

We are located close to public transport, a bus stop is 50 m away while a taxi rank is just 100m away. You will be within walking distance to 5 local pubs that have a range of menus from traditional to more up market. Also located close by and a short stroll to 3 Asian restaurants, an Indian restaurant as well as Newcastle's largest club complex which includes another 5 restaurants and other facilities. We have boutique shopping in our New Lambton Village and a large shopping centre only 5 minutes away by car. Parking is available off the street on a service road. Newcastle's premier sports stadium is only a 5 minute walk.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS:
SHUTTLE: Mark and I are happy to offer our airport shuttle service for a fee of $60 (UBER is around $70)
MASSAGE: Why not have a relaxing massage during your stay, times are flexible and is $80 for an hour for our guests. NB: Mark is a qualified Massage Therapist.
TOUR: You might be interested in a tour while visiting our region. We run a boutique tour company, Tayla Made Tours which can take up to 6 guests to The Hunter Valley for a wine tasting tour for the day. Cost is $160 + $40 per person.
